The greytHR Feeds feature provides a unique social networking experience for organizations. The Feeds page allows you to communicate in your organization network socially with your employees and colleagues. The rich and healthy communication environment created by our Feeds module enables and improves effective employee engagement. 

You can view & wish birthdays, work anniversaries, and read more about what is happening in your organization. You can also post things to buy/ sell/ or rent. You can create posts related to your organization, appreciations, and product updates.

On Feeds page, you can perform the following actions:

  1. Viewing Posts in different groups
  2. Creating a Post
  3. Sorting the Posts
  4. Commenting on a Post
  5. Liking a Post


To navigate to Feeds page, on the left navigation menu, click Feeds.

Viewing Posts in different groups

Feeds page displays posts under various groups. These groups are created by the admin in your organization. To view post under a particular group, perform the following actions:

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Feeds. Feeds page opens.
  2. On Feeds page, under the title Groups, click the required group. The page displays all the posts available under the selected groups.

Creating a Post 

To create a post on the Feeds page, perform the following actions:

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Feeds. Feeds page opens.
  2. On Feeds page, on top-right corner, click Create a post.
  3. Create a post pop-up window appears.
  4. In Create a post pop-up, from the You are posting in: drop-down list, select the group in which you want to create a post.
  5. In Write something here.. text box, write the post.
  6. Click Attachmento attach an image or document to your post.

    It is recommended to read the See Posting Guidelines.

  7. Click Post to create a post under the selected group.

Sorting the Posts

Perform the following action to sort the posts:

  1. On Feeds page, from the Sort drop-down list, select an option. Posts will be displayed as per your selection. Under Sort drop-down list, you have the following two options for sorting:
    1. Newest posts: This option displays the recent posts first. 
    2. Most recent interacted: This option displays the posts on which employees have reacted recently.   

Commenting on a Post

To comment on a post, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Feeds page, choose a post for which you want to add a comment. 
  2. Click Comments. Post your comments here.. text box appears.
  3. In Post your comments here.. text box, enter the content you want to post as a comment.


  4. Click Post Comment to post the comment. Your comment is now posted.

    In case you want to delete the comment you have posted, perform the following actions:

    1. Delete icon is available under the comment you have posted. Click the Delete icon. Delete Comment pop-up appears.
    2. Click Confirm to delete the comment you have posted.

    If there are more comments posted by your colleagues, the number of comments will be displayed . After you click Comments, all the previous comments posted by your colleagues will be displayed too. The number shown on the icon indicates the total number of comments for that particular post. 

Liking a Post

To like a post posted by your colleagues, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Feeds page, go to a post that you want to like. 
  2. Click  icon to like the post.

If there are more likes of your colleagues, the number of likes will be displayed as  . Click Likes to view a list of your colleagues who have liked the post. The number shown on the icon indicates the total number of likes for that particular post.  

To remove your like from a post, click Likes.
