Added filter to Email Employee Password page to view Not Yet Mailed employees and Expired Mails
In Actions > Email Employee Password, you can view the list of new employees requiring Welcome mail password generation link and generate the same. Now, you are also able to filter on Not Yet Mailed employees and Expired Mails from the Status drop-down list.
The new employee's name displays only if the mail ID is given in the Employee Profile page.
As soon as a new employee is added with mail ID, the employee lists under the status of Not Yet Mailed. This status indicates that the employee is yet to receive Welcome mail password generation link. After receiving the link if the employee has not take action on it then the link expires and now the employee lists under the Expired Mails status.
Note that password reset is possible either after the link expires or when Administrator resets the password from Regenerate Employee Password.
Added an option to set Welcome mail password generation link expiry in Password Settings
New employees receive a Welcome mail password generation link. You can now set a value for the expiry of this password generation link. To do so, go to System Settings > General > Password Options. In the Welcome Mail Password Expiry Days spin box, set the desired value. The default value is four days.
The default value for Welcome Mail Password Expiry Days is four days. If you enter zero or negative values then the value resets to the default days.
