In the Assignment page, you can assign an active policy to the employees in bulk or individually. The policy can be assigned for the current date or from a future date. You can also migrate employees from one policy to another or delete the policy details of an employee. 

To navigate to the Assignment page, click Employee > Admin > Assignment.

Assigning Employees to an Overtime Policy in Bulk

To assign employees to a policy in bulk or to bulk transfer employee from one policy to another, perform the following actions:

  1. Select Overtime from the Select Assignment Type drop-down menu. 
  2. Select Unassigned from the Select Policy drop-down menu.

    Select Policy drop-down menu displays a list of all the active policies and an additional group named as Unassigned. Selecting an active policy will help you in migrating employees from the selected policy to another policy. The selection of the group Unassigned will provide you with a list of all the employees (such as new joiners) who are not allocated to any overtime policy.

  3. Select Bulk Select option to view a complete list of all the employees who are not part of any policy.
  4. From the Employee Name list, select multiple employees or all the employees to assign a policy. After selecting employees, you can view the following settings:
  5. Select a policy from the Select Policy drop-down menu.
  6. Select a date from the Assignment Effective From drop-down calendar. This is the date from which the employees you select will be assigned to the selected overtime policy. The selected date can be a current or future date. 
  7. Enter remarks in the Remarks text box, if any.
  8. Click Assign Policy to assign the selected policy to the employees in bulk.

Assigning Employees to an Overtime Policy Individually

Assigning individual employees to an overtime policy gives better access and control to admin over employee database.

To assign an individual employee to a policy, perform the following actions:

  1. Select Overtime from the Select Assignment Type drop-down menu. 
  2. Select Unassigned from the Select Policy drop-down menu.

    Select Policy drop-down menu displays a list of all the active policies and an additional group named as Unassigned. Selecting an active policy will help you in migrating employees from the selected policy to another policy. The selection of the group Unassigned will provide you with a list of all the employees (such as new joiners) who are not allocated to any overtime policy.

  3. Select Individual Details option to view a complete list of all the unassigned employees. 
  4. From the Employee Name list, Select an employee to assign a policy. After selecting an employee, you can view the following settings:

  5. Assign Policy tab displays all the settings required to assign a policy to the selected employee. Select a policy from the Select Policy drop-down menu.
  6. Select a date from the Assignment Effective From drop-down calendar. This is the date from which the employee you select will be assigned to the selected overtime policy. This can be a current or future date.
  7. Enter remarks in the Remarks text box, if any.
  8. Click Assign Policy to assign the selected policy to the employee individually.

You can also view the Information tab. Information tab provides you with the Employee Information and policy History of the selected employee.
