In greytHR, you can assign a:
- Manager: to newly joined employee(s) currently without a manager.
- Top-level Manager: to an org as the first/new head.
Manager
Go to Employee > Main > Reporting Structure.
In the Reporting Structure page, click
.To directly perform this action, go to Actions > Employee > Assign Manager.
- In the Assign Manager page, select both employee and manager to be assigned.
- Click .
- Click Confirm in the Confirm message box.
- The Reporting Structure page displays along with a success message.
Select the required employee to view corresponding manager details.
Click All to view current and past managers of selected employee. Click Current to view current details only. Click Mass transfer to transfer all reportees of one manager to another in cases such as when a serving manager leaves the org or their is an org restructure.
Top-level Manager
- Go to Employee > Main > Reporting Structure.
- Click .
- Select the employee to be made top-level manager.
- Click .
- The Reporting Structure page displays along with a success message.
- Both Org Tree and Org Chart now display two top-level managers because this sample org already has a top-level manager.
